Public Biography
At McKinsey & Company, I manage the social sector practice. This includes conducting research, championing innovation, and helping serve clients around the world. In my previous academic positions, I directed graduate programs in biomedical informatics, emergency management, and public health. My PhD and MPH degrees are in public health sciences with a dual focus on epidemiology and maternal and child health. My research in the US and the United Kingdom has included a wide range of topics in women's and children's health and health and biomedical informatics.

FAMIA stands for “Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association” and it recognizes the contributions and professional accomplishments of AMIA members who apply informatics skills and knowledge to their practice – be that in a clinical setting, a public or population health capacity, or as a clinical researcher.
