A Health Informatics Leadership and Peer Networking Community

The AMIA Health Systems Council is a forward thinking, member driven, creative community of people who work together to develop and pursue an agenda for:

  • education of the informatics workforce to meet modern needs
  • advocacy for informatics groups within their institutions and in public policy
  • science for the management and practice of informatics
  • sharing innovations, educational material, managerial practices, and other information
  • diversity and inclusion of the informatics workforce, so the institution may better benefit from employees that share experiences with the people they serve. By targeting all levels of the informatics workforce, AMIA Health Systems Council also aims to improve membership diversity at AMIA.
